PLENARY PRESENTATIONS

Program Development:
Criteria for selection for oral or poster presentations will include innovation and relevance, scientific rigor and results. Presentations will be expected to provide participants with proven practical approaches to the delivery of quality, cost-effective care services across the continuum of the healthcare system. Successful experiences should be transportable and applicable to a wide audience. Preference will be given to selecting abstracts, which will stimulate discussion and advance the knowledge and debate about quality in healthcare. Presentation material must be relevant to an international conference.

Abstracts with a focus on a commercial product will be considered only when scientific, independent reviews about the product and comparative data are provided with the abstract.

The Scientific Committee in collaboration with the Conference Planning and Organizing Committee intends to schedule 15-minute oral presentations including speaker introduction plus up to 5 minutes for questions and discussion for each selected oral presentation. Audiovisual support will be in PowerPoint format.

Poster sessions each with a chairperson will provide an opportunity for presenters to briefly outline their poster and for delegates to explore questions with them.

Presentations:
Authors are now being invited to submit abstract proposals covering:
* Papers on completed work
* Reports and presentations on work in progress
* Workshops on a topic or skill area

Abstract proposals are to address various approaches to the themes as set out above and can also address other issues related to quality and safety of care as listed below.

Abstract Oral and Poster sessions will be scheduled as well as a limited number of workshop sessions.
